Smalley on way
out on loan player joins Oxford Dean Smalley has agreed a deal to join Oxford United. Smalley's Boundary Park contract would have been up in June and he has spent most of the season out on loan. His first loan deal was at Rochdale and then he moved to join former manager John Sheridan at Chesterfield. Smalley scored 11 goals in his time at Boundary Park and the Latics will receive an undisclosed fee for the player because he is under the age of 24.
