Royle reveals financial fears
A number of clubs have fallen on hard times amid the current recession and Royle insists clubs must manage their finances shrewdly.
He told the Oldham Evening Chronicle: "Why should football be immune to what is happening in the world at the moment? I think clubs all over the world will be looking over their shoulders.
"All clubs have to look at their finances carefully and cut their cloth accordingly, and that includes ourselves."
