Oldham boss Dave Penney could hand a debut to on-loan striker Jason Price for the trip to Tranmere. The 32-year-old, who has scored 79 goals in 334 appearances during a much-travelled career, has joined the Latics on a month`s loan from Millwall. Defender Hasney Aljofree could also come into contention after he signed a permanent deal with the Latics following his departure from Swindon. Crystal Palace goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan has rejoined Oldham on loan until the end of the season and will challenge Dean Brill for a starting berth. The Latics have been further boosted after after Huddersfield midfielder Jim Goodwin agreed to stay at the club for the remainder of the campaign after joining on loan at the start of January. His continued availability is a major boost as Jon Worthington, Andy Holdsworth, Kelvin Lomax, Rob Purdie and Lewis Alessandra all remain sidelined through injury.
