are players with poor injury records worth keeping?

Manager Paul Dickov has to make some unpopular decisions in the near future when he decides which players to keep for next season. With long term player Chris Taylor declaring that he wants to play at a higher standard and similar desires by striker Robbie Simpson, it will be a difficult job for the manager.

With the loss of Zander Diamond and James Wesolowski through injury the manager will sit down with chairman Simon Corney this week to discuss future plans for the club. There will be a reduced budget for next season and decisions will be made as to whether players with poor fitness records are worth keeping in relationship to wages being paid compared to the amount of time spent on the field. Eighteen first-team players are without contracts for next term.
