Penalty rankles Dickov

Oldham manager Paul Dickov was disappointed with the referee's decision to award Carlisle a last-gasp penalty in his side's 2-2 draw at Carlisle. First-half strikes from Aidan White and Chris Taylor put the Latics in control before Carlisle rescued a point thanks to Francois Zoko and a 94th-minute penalty from James Berrett after Paul Black had fouled Zoko in the penalty area. Dickov said: "The referee said he made an honest decision and took the word of his linesman. The flag went up very quickly. There was contact, but whether it was a foul or not it was outside the box." Dickov added: "We were excellent in the first half especially. We played some great stuff and scored two great goals and could easily have had more. "We played very well for long periods. Up until their first goal Ben Amos didn't have a save to make. Our attacking play was excellent and they could not handle our front players at times."
