Oumare Tounkara has rejoined the Latics on loan from Sunderland. The 21-year-old striker's contract expires this summer and he is keen to make an impression at Oldham.Tounkara said, “My contract finishes this summer so it is an important time for me. Latics have 10 games left and the challenge is to play in all of them, score some goals and help the team pick up as many points as possible. I had a decent pre-season when I trained with the first team. Since then I have been unable to get into the team and it has been a frustrating season. I have definitely missed playing League games which is why I am happy to come back to Latics. It has also been nice to see old friends again and I am looking forward to playing again for the team.”
