Wilson back for Latics

OIdham will have James Wilson available again when they host Preston at Boundary Park.

The central defender, recruited in January, missed the 2-2 draw against Tranmere due to illness but has now returned to full health.

Midfielder Anton Rodgers (knee) and defender Genseric Kusunga (thigh) are both long-term absentees and will not be back for the foreseeable future.

Striker Jon Stead has returned to Huddersfield at the end of his loan spell so either Rhys Turner (knee) or Kirk Millar (knock) are likely to be among the substitutes after overcoming minor problems.

Captain John Welsh could make his return for Preston.

The former Tranmere midfielder has missed North End's previous three fixtures due to a knee problem but he was expected to take part in the final few training sessions before the trip.

The versatile Jack King has not started a game since February 22 but he insists his foot problem is being managed and is not affecting his training schedule.

The Lilywhites have only lost once on the road in the league since October but face the team who knocked them out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Deepdale earlier this season.
