M'voto doubtful for Dickov Oldham defender Jean-Yves M'voto faces a late fitness test ahead of Preston's visit to Boundary Park. M'voto turned his ankle during Tuesday night's impressive 2-0 win at Crewe and, having previously suffered from serious ankle problems earlier in his career, was immediately withdrawn as a precaution by boss Paul Dickov. Scans revealed the Frenchman has suffered no ligament damage and he is responding well to treatment. If M'voto is ruled out, James Tarkowski is set to deputise at centre-back having opened the scoring after his introduction at Gresty Road. Elsewhere, Dickov has a fully fit squad to choose from as Latics pursue a first home win of the season against Graham Westley's men. Robbie Simpson could push for a start in attack having replaced Jose Baxter midway through the second half in midweek. Paul Huntington and David Buchanan are injury doubts for Preston. The duo limped out of Tuesday night's 3-1 win at Doncaster and boss Graham Westley was irritated by accusations of gamesmanship levelled at the pair. "When I see Paul Huntington and David Buchanan going down and being forced off the pitch through the injuries they've taken, and people are talking about gamesmanship - as I say, it's one of the things that you're going to face if you're successful," he told BBC Radio Lancashire. "Manchester City face it, Manchester United face it - everyone starts pointing fingers at sides that look as though they're going to be successful because they want an excuse for themselves." Keith Keane is expected to return from suspension at right-back, allowing midweek goalscorer Jack King to revert to a more familiar midfield role. Forward Lee Trundle (knee) and winger Lee Holmes (gashed leg) remain on the sidelines.
