Latics to assess duo

Oldham will run the rule over both Jonathan Grounds and James Wesolowski as they look to extend their unbeaten run in to double figures against struggling Notts County.

Both defender Grounds and midfielder Wesolowski, two of Latics' most impressive performers this season, missed Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Sheffield United because of knocks.

That meant boss Lee Johnson was unable to name the same XI for an eighth successive game, something no Football League side has done this term, with David Worrall having to fill in at full-back while John Paul Kissock came into midfield.

Defender Genseric Kusunga (hamstring) and midfielder Anton Rodgers (groin) have been on the sidelines for weeks now.

Notts County must try to preserve their League One status without Hayden Mullins.

Mullins was set to finish the season on loan with the Magpies but the Birmingham defender has this week been recalled by his parent club following a spate of injuries at St Andrew's.

Manager Shaun Derry is likely to keep any other changes to a minimum but has the likes of Callum McGregor, Josh Vela, Gareth Roberts and Nathan Tyson to call upon.

A draw would be enough to keep Notts up given their vastly superior goal difference over Tranmere, who go into the final day two points behind Derry's side in the final relegation spot.
