Sub Phill's his boots

Substitute Danny Philliskirk scored twice as Oldham fought back for a 3-2 victory over Scunthorpe.

Philliskirk snatched a late winner when he converted a six-yard header from James Wilson's knockdown.

Scunthorpe broke through on 26 minutes when Gary McSheffrey's corner was headed in from eight yards by Andrew Boyce.

The visitors' lead lasted just three minutes as a slip by Jennison Myrie-Williams allowed ex-Iron winger Jonathan Forte to run clear and slot in a 10-yard shot for his sixth goal of the season.

Scunthorpe went back in front after 34 minutes as Paddy Madden set up Rory Fallon, who marked his debut by finishing smartly on the turn.

The Latics levelled again on 66 minutes, with Brian Wilson crossing from the right and Philliskirk producing a close-range finish at the near post.

Philliskirk pounced again seven minutes from time and Oldham held on comfortably to stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.
