More friendlies arranged
first-team and reserves have games fixed up Athletic have confirmed more pre-season friendlies. The first team will travel to play Barrow on 9th. July which is followed by another away game at non-league neighbours Mossley on 12th. July. The first home game will be against Blackpool who were recently relegated from the Premier League. That game will take place on 23rd. July and will be followed three days later by the visit of Burnley on 26th. July. The reserves visit Salford City on 20th. July, entertain Rochdale at Boundary Park on 27th. July and then travel to Ashton United on 3rd. August.
