Lomax and Smalley on way out?
Shez - "They will add strength in depth to the squad" Kelvin Lomax and Deane Smalley are both expected to move to Chesterfield and join ex-boss Latics John Sheridan. Both players are currently out of favour and Smalley has just completed one month on loan at Rochdale and Lomax is currently on the transfer list.The duo will be joining other former Latics players as midfielder Danny Whitaker and striker Craig Davies who has hit nine goals in his twelve outings this season. The Spireites are going great guns under Shez and have only lost one game so far. Sheridan said, “They will add strength in depth to the squad. Kelvin Lomax is a full-back who can play both sides and Deane Smalley is a forward who I rate highly. They aren’t playing for Oldham at the moment but they both played regularly when I was there.”
