Lions striker to extend Latics stay
The 33-year-old joined the Lions in the summer following a successful loan spell from Doncaster but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.[LNB]Price's one-month loan with Oldham is set to finish after Saturday's clash with Norwich but Jackett believes an extension is imminent.[LNB]"I don't know whether the paperwork has gone through but I spoke to the Oldham manager and in principle he has agreed to stay there until the end of the season," he told the News Shopper.[LNB]"We obviously changed things around a little bit by bringing in Shaun Batt and Jon Obika, so when Jason went it was co-ordinated with those two coming in.[LNB]"I don't think we are going to go any further than that in terms of bringing people in unless there are injuries or a big loss of form. Jason was not getting as much football as a senior player should and Oldham was his preferred choice."[LNB][LNB]
