one year addition to contract Kieran Lee has signed a one year extension to his current two year deal which expires next month. Initially, the 21 year old former Manchester United player struggled to establish a regular place in the team but towards the end of the season his luck changed and he became the regular right-back.A delighted Lee said, "I am happy to be staying as I had really enjoyed my football in the second half of the season which has just finished. Before then I didn't expect to be staying because I was hardly getting a game. Since getting a regular place, I think I have done quite well and hopefully I can carry that on next season." "You don't feel part of the team and any footballer will tell you they are unhappy when they are not playing. But since getting into the team and playing regularly, it has helped build my confidence and I am enjoying my football. In some ways it is good that I can play in a number of different positions - both full-back places and anywhere in midfield. But it can also be bad when you don't have a recognised position in the team."
