Lee scores his first goal

"I am hoping to progress here" Kieran Lee scored his first goal, and Athletic's third, for the Latics and confessed, "Confidence is high and we believe we can beat anyone. And on our day, I think we will. We must look to next week's game at Charlton, which will be a tough match, to keep the run going. We will go there believing we can win the game, and hopefully we will do well. I was enjoying it towards the end of last season, but am doing so even more and I am hoping to progress here." "You can see we are playing a different style from last season. We are looking to pass the ball and that is why we are doing well. It suits us and it is hard for opposing teams to get near us when we play that way. We are enjoying our football, though it is serious out on the pitch and everybody is getting behind us and players and fans are united as one which wasn't the case last season. I saw an opportunity to get into the box as we didn't have any strikers there as I broke forward. It was a great ball in and harder to miss than score."
