Latics midfielder keeping positive
The Latics are languishing fourth bottom of League One after winning only one of their opening seven matches.
Yet there were plenty of encouraging signs during last weekend's narrow 1-0 loss at Bristol Rovers and Furman is confident his side can now turn the corner.
He said: "It is a case of little things not going for us at the moment.
"Chances aren't going in, but that a bit of luck will hopefully come our way sooner rather than later.
"We need to cut out the mistakes and hopefully the luck, which other teams seem to be getting, will come our way."
