Latics make move to sign Jacobson
The 22-year-old defender has spent the last two years with League One rivals Bristol Rovers.
The former Cardiff trainee told the club's official website: "I feel great and cannot wait to get training with the rest of the lads.
"Oldham are a big club and new manager Dave Penny has a reputation of getting the best out of players.
"That suits me fine and I can't wait to show Latics fans just what I can bring to the party."
