Latics investigate brawl reports
Hardy has promised the "strongest possible action" after the alleged brawl during a club night out.[LNB]The incident is said to have taken place during an informal 'meet the players' evening at Belle Vue Dog track on Tuesday 3 March.[LNB]The off-field controversy comes at a crucial point in the Latics bid to earn promotion from League One this season, with John Sheridan's men having won just two of their last nine games.[LNB]Hardy said: "The incidents that happened last Tuesday are certainly disturbing and the board of directors are conducting a full investigation.[LNB]"If anyone is found to have acted inappropriately thus bringing the club into disrepute, I would expect the strongest possible action would be taken and you can not discount sacking in this respect.[LNB]"The club will be making no further comment."[LNB][LNB]
