Latics in the pink against Whites

Not only are the play-off chasing League One side looking to complete the double on their Roses rivals on March 2, they will also be doing their bit for charity.

Shirt manufacturers Carbrini have provided a dazzling pink neon strip as the club throw their support behind the new Link 4 Pink campaign at the Victoria Breast Unit at the Royal Oldham hospital - aiming to raise £250,000.

The game-worn shirts will be auctioned off on the club's official website after the game with proceeds donated to Link 4 Pink.

"We are very happy to do whatever we can to help out what is a very good cause," said team captain Sean Gregan.

"We hope to help raise as much money as possible for Link 4 Pink - and to be honest the shirt isn't as bad as I thought it would be."
