Oldham and Carlisle have each been fined £3,500 by the Football Association for the altercation which marred their League One fixture on February 15. Both clubs requested a personal hearing which took place on Wednesday having been charged in accordance to rule E20 - failure to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion. Oldham pleaded guilty ahead of the disciplinary hearing while Carlisle were found guilty of their part in the incident. The FA committee also ordered both to pay costs of £250. Latics assistant manager Gerry Taggart also admitted a charge of improper conduct beforehand in relation to his involvement in the altercation at Boundary Park. He was hit with a one-match touchline ban and a £1,000 fine. All three parties have the right of appeal.
