Latics boss wants pick-me-up
Ex-Latics midfielder Neil Kilkenny made the first-half breakthrough in Tuesday night's League One clash at Boundary Park before Leeds doubled their advantage through a late goal from substitute Luciano Becchio.[LNB]Penney said: "Leeds are a good side and that's why they are top of the league but in the circumstances my players did well.[LNB]"We made a bright start but lost a bit of confidence after Leeds scored so we needed to settle the players down at half-time.[LNB]"After that we had another good go at them but Leeds showed their qualities and we have to pick ourselves up for another very tough game at Norwich on Saturday."[LNB][LNB]
