Latics boss ready for Posh test

Royle has taken one point from three games in charge since succeeding John Sheridan as manager on a short-term deal. But he is optimistic of denting Posh's automatic promotion push and enhancing the Latics' play-off prospects. "We have a massive match against arguably the best footballing side in this division and we've got to get at them," Royle told the club's official website. "If they have a weakness it's the defence rather than attack, so we've got to test that. "We need to score goals. It's been a problem for us and I need a first win - I don't want to go four games without a win. I don't like going home on a Saturday without a W in my pocket."
