Latics boss has defensive crisis
The centre-back was thrust into the action as an emergency measure at Wycombe on Saturday due to the club's current injury list.[LNB]However, he collected his fifth yellow card of the season and now misses the Boxing Day home clash against Tranmere.[LNB]Penney told the Oldham Chronicle: "In an ideal world we wouldn't have played him, but fair play to Reuben, he declared himself fit and was excellent.[LNB]"He has five bookings now and we are going to miss him.[LNB]"It is a blow to us and means we will have to rejig the defence once again."[LNB][LNB]
