Latics boss delighted with win
Alan Sheehan and Keigan Parker struck high-class goals as Penney's Latics side completed a hat-trick of league wins and condemned MK Dons to their first away defeat of the season.
The Oldham boss said: "When you play so well you hope you will go on to achieve the right result so I'm delighted.
"We battled away, our work ethic and tempo were excellent from the first minute and both goals were fantastic.
"It's nice to have three straight wins and there is a spring in our step at the moment, although confidence has never been an issue.
"MK Dons are a big, strong unit who are dangerous on set pieces, but we defended well even though we made it a bit difficult at the end."
