Latics bid for McDonald
Norwich striker knows where the net is It is rumoured that the Latics have put in a bid for striker Cody McDonald although other clubs are also showing an interest in the Norwich City player. McDonald is 25-years-old was a big success when he went out on loan to Gillingham last season after scoring 25 goals in his 41 appearances. Latics manager Paul Dickov has made his intentions known but the club do not have the cash available for a permanent deal unless they offload some players first. A six figure sum has been mooted but the Latics are hoping that the higher level of a League One club could be an attractive proposition to recently promoted Norwich. McDonald knows where the net is and has scored 92 goals in 166 games.
