Jones faces late check
Oldham boss Paul Dickov will assess the fitness of midfielder Ritchie Jones ahead of the home clash with Swindon.
Jones has been nursing a hamstring injury but is rated as 50-50 to face Danny Wilson's men.
The Latics have no other major concerns and winger Filipe Morais is available again after completing a three-match ban.
Midfielder Andy Robinson has been training with the Latics this week following his departure from Leeds but cannot play anywhere until the transfer window re-opens in January.
The match could yet fall victim to the big freeze, but Dickov has warned his players: "Don't be fooled by Swindon's league position because they are a very good team and one of the best I have seen in the division."
