Purdie moves on too Another player to have his contract terminated at the Latics is Joe Jacobson who has been released. He joined the club from Bristol Rovers in 2009 but his time has been plagued by injury to such an extent he has made only 16 first-team appearances. Jacobson joins Rob Purdie who has also had his contract terminated.
