Injured Latics return in friendly
Jon Worthington, who resumed training following an ankle injury this week, played the opening half-hour of the clash at United's Carrington training complex.[LNB]Defender Kelvin Lomax, who has been out for two months with a ligament injury, also featured in the first half.[LNB]Lewis Alessandra managed 45 minutes following his return from an ankle problem, while fellow recent absentees Kieran Lee and Chris Rowney got some game time under their belts.[LNB]Simon Whalley, who is on trial at the club, also got a run out against United.[LNB][LNB]
