Holdsworth: We can go up
The 25-year-old defender put pen to paper at Boundary Park earlier this week and believes the Latics are more than capable of mixing it with the big boys in the forthcoming campaign.
"League One will be tough because there are clubs who have been in the Premier League who will be looking to get out of this division as quickly as possible," he told the club's official website.
"But there are some good players at Boundary Park and we should be capable of having our say.
"It's going to be a good test but I'm looking forward to going up with Oldham - there's no reason why we can't give it a real good go."
