The covers were frozen to the pitch and, after an inspection, the game was called off on Friday afternoon.[LNB]Oldham boss Dave Penney was frustrated by the decision to call the game off and told the club's official website: "I want to come down and see the conditions for myself.[LNB]"I just couldn't believe when they said there was a pitch inspection over 24 hours before the game.[LNB]"It's not like we're talking about a long away-day with costs for the club like coaches and hotels or costs for the fans like trains and coaches.[LNB]"It's only 15 minutes down the road and I personally think we could have waited longer for a decision to be made."[LNB][LNB]
