Gregan waiting for Latics deal
The 35-year-old defender is one of several Athletic players out of contract and is sweating over whether new manager Penney will retain his services at Boundary Park.
"I haven't heard a thing and it is an uncertain period," he told the Oldham Chronicle.
"It's the first time in my career that I have been out of contract. Don't get me wrong, I'm 35 and I know I am not going to get clubs offering me
three-year deals.
"But I'd like to think I've shown I can still play at this level and, as I have said before, I would like to stay at this club."
