Furman goes under the knife
knee repair undertaken today Midfielder and club captain Dean Furman will undergo surgery on his injured knee. The operation involves having a torn cartilage in his left knee repaired. Manager Paul Dickov commented, “It is disappointing for me, the players and the fans because he is very popular with them. They are saying he will be out for eight weeks but knowing Dean I wouldn't be surprised if it were five or six. The main thing is that we get him right.”
