The football fixtures have been released for 2013/14 and Athletic will kick off their season with a trip to Stevenage on 3rd. August. Their first home League game will occur the following week when Walsall visit Boundary Park. September brings only one home fixture with three trips to Preston, Rotherham and Crawley.
Relegated Wolves will visit Athletic for a Tuesday night game in October and the Latics will cross the Pennines to Sheffield United for the Boxing Day fixture. There will be four home matches in March when the Latics host the September away return games against Preston, Rotherham and Crawley and Brentford will also make the long haul north for a visit. Oldham must wait until April to travel to newlt promoted Bradford City and the season rounds out with a home game against Notts County on 3rd May.Source: Oldham Athletic Mad
