Feeney relieved with return
Oldham striker Warren Feeney admits he was delighted to finally return to action in Saturday's 2-0 victory at Plymouth.
Feeney had not started a match since the 2-1 defeat at Southampton on October 23 but he put in a fine display to help the Latics to emerge victorious at Home Park.
Feeney said: "It was nice from a personal point of view to be back in the side, but it was a good win for the boys after a long trip.
"It was great to be playing again and I felt fine so I will give a mention to our fitness coach (Paul Butler) and the work he has done with me.
"It had been frustrating not playing, but it's the gaffer's decision and I had to get on with trying to win by place back in the side."
