Feeney blow for Latics

27 September 2010 15:01
Oldham boss Paul Dickov will be again without striker Warren Feeney for the match against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough. The Northern Ireland International has missed the last two games with an niggling ankle problem and remains sidelined. In Feeney's absence Dickov seems likely to hand a second successive start to Lewis Alessandra after he scored in the 2-1 defeat to Brighton at the weekend. Fellow striker Ryan Brooke returns to the squad after recovering from ankle ligament damage sustained in pre-season while Andy Holdsworth has been recalled. However, Greg Fleming (knee), Keith Millar (groin strain) aswell as first-year professionals Djeny Bembo-Leta (fractured fibula and damaged ankle ligaments) and Phil McGrath (cruciate) are still unavailable.
