Oldham have completed the loan signing of versatile teenager Cedric Evina from Arsenal. The 18-year-old, who can play at either left-back or in midfield, will stay at Boundary Park for an initial month. Latics manager Paul Dickov said: "I've seen Cedric play and I'm sure he'll bring a lot of quality to the team. "He's quick, can play left-back or left wing and is a very good defender. Cedric is young, hungry and fits the profile of the players we're looking for. "Hopefully he'll be a good acquisition and I'd like to thank Arsenal for allowing him to join us." Evina was born in Cameroon, but spent his early years in Paris before moving with his family to London at the age of nine and has graduated through the ranks from Under-10s to the reserve team at Arsenal.
