Highly-rated Oldham striker Tom Eaves has joined Bolton for an undisclosed fee and signed a three-year deal at the Reebok Stadium. The Liverpool-born 18-year-old, who stands 6ft 5in, scored an impressive hat-trick against Wanderers in a recent pre-season friendly at Boundary Park. He progressed through the Latics' Centre of Excellence and made his Football League debut against Millwall in January. Oldham chief executive Alan Hardy said. "There has been a great amount of speculation these last few weeks about Tom's future. "It is a fact a number of clubs had shown an interest in him and Tom choose to speak with Bolton last week. "The negotiations have now been concluded and we are happy with the deal that gives Latics a guaranteed fee plus the usual add-ons and sell on clause. We wish Tom all the best at the Reebok."
