Double doubt for Cumbrians clash
Veteran defender Gregan picked up a knock in Saturday's goalless draw at home to Stockport and midfielder Taylor was substituted midway through the second half.
He had also taken a knock and was replaced by Danny Whitaker, who is on stand by to replace him in the starting line-up at Brunton Park.
Both players will be assessed ahead of kick-off but new signings Rob Purdie and Joe Jacobsen remain sidelined due to injury.
Midfielder Purdie joined on a free transfer from Darlington and is recovering from a stomach injury.
Defender Jacobsen arrived from Bristol Rovers but is currently troubled by a hernia and will again play no part.
