refused to return for treatment Rodrigue Dikaba has had his registration cancelled by Athletic in another effort to reduce outgoing funds at Boundary Park. Dikaba was asked to return to the club for treatment for an injury which he picked up on international duty for DR Congo. Dikaba made just two substitute appearances for Athletic's first team. Manager Paul Dickov commented, "Rodrigue wanted to see his own doctor in Paris, but we told him to come back to see our own medical staff here. He saw his own manager, who informed him he would be out for 10 days and Rodrigue said he would be staying in Paris for that period. We have a great set of lads here and I don't want any individual spoiling what we are building. That is why I have decided to cancel his registration."
