Oldham boss Paul Dickov admits his side face a stern test when they finally return to action against in-form Hartlepool on New Year's Day. The Latics have not played for five weeks due to a series of postponements and Dickov knows a tough test awaits against Mick Wadsworth's side. Pools are the form team in npower League One with six wins in their last seven competitive matches. Dickov said: "I have played in a couple of cup games at Hartlepool so I know what a hard place it is to go to. "Mick Wadsworth has got his team playing well and they have had some fantastic results of late. "They are very well organised and are on a roll at the moment so it will be a tough game."
