Dickov upbeat despite defeat

Paul Dickov tried to remain upbeat despite his side`s 2-1 defeat but the Oldham manager was frustrated with the way Brighton scored their goals. Lewis Alessandra put the Latics ahead after 30 minutes but Albion equalised through Ashley Barnes a minute before the break. Spanish striker Fran Sandaza struck in injury time to send Brighton to the top of the table. "We've conceded two goals from set-pieces but this defeat is not the end of the world," said Dickov. "We've got a great group of boys who are very positive. Brighton are a very good team but we matched them for long periods and both keepers played well. "There was supposed to be five minutes of added time but the goal came in the sixth minute. All we want from referees is consistency. All in all, it's disappointing to concede in added time but the boys worked their socks off and deserved something from the game."
