Dickov tries to emphasise positives

Oldham boss Paul Dickov was not too downbeat despite his side`s winless run now standing at nine matches following a 1-0 defeat at Leyton Orient. Paul-Jose M'Poku stepped off the bench to score the only goal of the game three minutes from time. "I feel for my boys because I thought they were really magnificent," said Dickov. "Orient had a few chances in the first half but we kept them at long range. "I thought that we defended excellently and when we did get forward, we caused them all sorts of problems and we should have had a penalty. "We were equal to them and I believe that, if we keep doing the right things, then the confidence will come back and so will the right results. We've worked ever so hard here and had a right good go so there are positive signs. "We had been pushing to get a goal ourselves and I'm really disappointed. We had a penalty appeal for handball turned down and frankly, some of the refereeing decisions totally baffled me."
