Oldham manager Paul Dickov will end his playing days at the end of the season. Dickov has played just once for the Latics this term, but is planning to give himself one last appearance in the Latics' final match of the campaign against MK Dons. The 38-year-old, who had successful spells at Man City, Leicester and Blackburn, will call time on his playing career after 22 years. Dickov earned 10 caps for Scotland but is now hoping to focus entirely on management. He told Oldham's official website: "It hasn't been a hard decision as I have been unofficially retired all season. "After consulting my staff, I made the decision as it is hard to double up and I need to concentrate all my efforts on being manager."
