Oldham boss Paul Dickov has opened talks with the respective clubs of loan trio Cedric Evina, Aidy White and Neal Trotman in a bid to extend their stays at Boundary Park. All three players see their current Latics agreements come to and end on January 3 but Dickov is keen to strike deals with Arsenal, Leeds and Preston respectively, although the sacking of North End boss Darren Ferguson could potentially provide complications with Trotman`s stay. "We want to keep all our best players and each of them come into that category," he told the club`s official website. "It is going to be a balancing act, but we want to keep our best players and positive conversations have gone on with all the loan players` respective clubs," he added. Dickov will also have to resolve the futures of Jason Jarrett and Dean Kelly, who see their short-term contracts expire at the end of January.
