Oldham manager Paul Dickov has saluted Latics chairman Simon Corney and his board of directors for backing him in the January transfer window. Dickov has been able to bring Reuben Reid, Andy Todd, Cedric Evina, Aidy White and Medi Abalimba to Boundary Park despite the financial constraints at the club. Dickov said: "I'd like to thank the chairman and board for the support they have given me, not only bringing in players, but also keeping the ones we have, which is even more important. "I've been able to bring in a number of players, but the club has also fended off bids for our own players. "I'm delighted with the squad and when I look at the team and players on the bench there's plenty of competition for places and we're also in a good position to push on in the league."
