Dickov lauds Latics display

Oldham manager Paul Dickov believes his side are capable of beating any team in npower League One following their 2-1 win over high-flying Huddersfield. Oumare Tounkara scored the decisive goal in the 24th minute when he ran on to Furman's through ball and kept his composure before slotting home from 10 yards. Oldham were well worth their win and Kieran Lee, Tounkara and Chris Taylor all missed good chances to further the Latics lead. Dickov said: "We had a major setback in the FA Cup at Accrington last week but (against Huddersfield) the players were fantastic. "When we play on the front foot like that we are a match for anyone in the division so that's what I want every week. "We defended as a team and our keeper hardly made a save against a very good Huddersfield side. It was only their keeper who stopped us scoring more than one because we played with pace and purpose."
