Dickov happy with draw

Oldham boss Paul Dickov heaped lavish praise on his players after they bounced back from their weekend humiliation to draw 1-1 against Premier League side Wigan. The Latics had lost 2-0 to Falkirk on Saturday but a goal from Dale Stephens put them in charge against Wigan before Jordi Gomez equalised from the spot. Dickov said: "It was a fantastic result and I got everything I was looking for, especially after the first-half showing on Saturday. "We had a chat about what happened and the players know what I expect of them and what they expect of each other." Meanwhile, Dickov said that the door is not completely shut on transfer-listed players Jon Worthington, Joe Jacobson, Joe Colbeck, Rob Purdie, Greg Fleming and Kelvin Lomax. He added: "I have told the players they have an opportunity to prove me wrong."
