Paul Dickov saluted the passion of his players after Oldham clinched victory with two goals in the last 12 minutes to beat Bournemouth 2-1. Bournemouth who went in front just before half time when Rhoys Wiggins hit a free-kick from near the right touchline and watched it sail all the way into the far corner. Yet Oldham equalised in the 78th minute through Kieran Lee and Ournare Tounkara slid in for a close-range winner. Dickov said: "The way we play the game is about team work rather than individuals and our spirit is one of the best I have known in 21 years in the game. "They stick together and back each other up all the way and you could see how much they wanted to win the game. "I was looking for us to play at a high tempo and although neither team was particularly good football wise the lads showed fantastic determination. Bournemouth are a good team who have given a few sides a hiding this season but we showed great character and resolve."
