Oldham manager Paul Dickov was left furious and admitted he was embarrassed by his side's first-half surrender after a 3-2 FA Cup defeat at Accrington. Ray Putterill struck twice in each half, either side of James Ryan's effort for Stanley, who outfought their npower League One opponents in a thrilling first-round tie before the visitors hit back with goals from Liam Feeney and Dale Stephens' penalty. Dickov said: "Our attitude in the first half was shocking and I'm not going to put up with it. "Accrington wanted to win the game in the first half more than us. We needed a cup run and it was embarrassing and I was embarrassed at half-time. "We got going at the end and created a lot of chances, but you have to ask why we didn't do this in the first half. "We've gone out of three cups in the first round this season - against Scunthorpe in the Carling Cup we did well, but against Shrewsbury in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and Accrington, our attitude has let us down and it's not good enough."
