Oldham manager Paul Dickov was delighted with his players after they stormed to their biggest win of the season with a 4-0 victory over Hartlepool. Aidan White, Chris Taylor, Cedric Evina and a first Oldham goal from substitute Reuben Reid secured the win for the play-off-chasing Latics. Dickov said: "We were excellent against a good team. No disrespect to Hartlepool but we won comfortably. "We felt we were on top from quite early on but we had to stay patient because they were sitting off us and looking to hit us on the break. "At half-time we talked about pushing further up the pitch and some of our football and goals were excellent, plus I'm very pleased with the clean sheet. "Our work ethic was very good, with people filling in for each other, and we have a really good squad now so everyone has to be on their game to stay in the team. We looked very confident but belief is something we have instilled in the players because we know how good they can be."
